Volunteer Spotlight


Jeff Rupright
Jeff Rupright is a Tax Senior HCA, Inc. where he has been since 2007. Prior to working at HCA, he was a tax consultant at Ryan, Inc., a private national tax firm. While at Ryan, Jeff's clients included Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies. He is a graduate of the Massey School of Business at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.

He currently sits on the Board of Governors for Phi Kappa Tau, the largest fraternity at Belmont University which he founded as an undergraduate student in 2003. Jeff's role on the Board of Governors is to keep local alumni up to date with the happenings of both the current chapter on campus and the alumni association in middle Tennessee.

He also serves as the President of the Phi Kappa Tau Graduate Council for the same chapter. Jeff's role is to oversee the funds of the chapter by utilizing different forms of investments to increase the balance of the chapter's foundation.

Jeff volunteers for a local non-profit, Ashley Strickland Children's Corporation (ASCC, Inc.), assisting with financial questions and volunteering for projects. ASCC was founded to help support and prepare children who are close to emancipation from juvenile justice system in Tennessee.

He also has been an income tax preparation volunteer for the VITA program in Middle Tennessee for the past 5 years. He served as site coordinator at New Level Community Development Corporation's VITA site on Jefferson Street and currently serves on the organization's board of directors.

Jeff currently resides in downtown Nashville. In his personal time, he enjoys volunteering in the community and spending time with friends and family. He believes that it is not only his duty but also an honor and privilege to give back to the community and to assist those in need.
