Investing 101 is a program designed by the National Foundation for Investor Education. Participants learn about investment vehicles, asset allocation, market cycles and how to utilize research tools to help them make sound investing decisions.
Course Outline
Goal setting and budgeting
Defining investment vehicles, understanding risk and return, understanding personal risk tolerance
Determining asset allocation, diversification through mutual funds, other investment vehicles
Understanding market cycles, interpreting investment returns, making changes and choosing a financial professional
